Mouse and Pad Aim, Best Practice?

    I'm currently making a game where player can aim using gamepad or mouse.
    My current approach is to have 2 actions, "AimStick" and "AimMouse" because that allows me to correctly aim either by direction vector or screen position.
    Is this the best way or is there anything better?
