    Hello everyone!

I created this image using the data I collected for my research on Game Development Q&A communities. I hope you like it!

For this study, I am also running a survey* with game developers: https://forms.gle/SVVAzUdD4cM7dsqk9

By answering the survey, you will have the opportunity to participate in a lottery draw to win one of ten $25 CAD Steam gift cards!

All game developers, of all background and experience levels, are welcome to respond!

    About the study

I am an MSc student at the Analytics of Software, GAmes And Repository Data (ASGAARD) lab (http://asgaard.ece.ualberta.ca) at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. In our lab, we study how we can leverage data analytics techniques to improve the user-perceived quality of software cost-effectively.

I am currently studying Q&A websites for game development, such as Unity Answers and Unreal Engine 4 AnswerHub. My objective is to comprehend the learning process that developers go through when learning game development. This survey aims to help us understand how and why game developers use and interact with these communities.

*Please take some time to read the information about the study we are conducting (project number: Pro00101354) provided in this link before participating: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WtdQBUs9xiCjVEjfteHqSWcINVaSCIEU/view?usp=sharing

The estimated time to complete the survey is 15-20 minutes. The expected probability of winning one of the prizes is 1 in 150. If you have any questions, please send an email at kamiensk [at] ualberta.ca. Other contact information can be found in the information letter above.
