Most commonly used unity versions?

Hi guys, I want to publish an asset on the AssetStore for free and I want it to be available to as many people as possible, so I'd like to export it for the earliest most commonly used Unity version.
Is there a way to know which one it is? Thank you in advance.

 

At a guess I'd say that 4.6 through to current would cover most users.

 

In this 2 years old thread https://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-version-usage-might-be-useful-for-package-devs.250891/ the 4.6 was already the second most used.
That thread would have been perfect to answer this, but it was never updated, so it doesn't cover versions above 5.3.

 

There are a few points where Unity made some major changes, those tend to be choke-points that keep people from updating. 5.5 was a huge one, so personally I’d probably target Unity 5.4.1, for the people who didn’t want to upgrade to 5.5. I would guess that’s the earliest version still in major useage, because it’s a year old now and 5.4 was the choke point right before the 5.5 monster
