I want to make a human character look like a half human half furry. like a character from zootopia. with a vanilla install of unity free edition. how do i do that? Do i make a morph/change/transform bar thingy? cause that's how i want to do it, slide a bar and it changes the character into a furry by sliding a bar. if this possible, how do i do it? i did install MCSfemale Lite, but i don't see an option to make your own morph bar.

I suggest you have a look through on the MCS official thread.

Getting a pink or purple color is usually Unity's way of telling you that something failed with the shader, like the shader isn't present or it didn't compile correctly.

That's a heck of a big project you have there.

What you are trying to do is morph smoothly between two different models. There is no easy way to do this.

You are going to have to start from the beginning. Learn a modelling program like Blender, Maya or the like. Then you are going to have to learn a lot about how models are handled, and the nature of humans and furrys. Then you are going to have to learn scripting in C#. Finally you need to put it all together to create your bar.

This is not an easy task. You are in for several years of learning to get something that looks halfway right.

I feel I answered both questions. If you're still wondering about a slider to morph a character from humanoid to something else, you'll need to read up on the Morph 3D stuff, which you can do in their thread.

Basically, if there is a way to do it, you'll need to wait till they finish their character authoring utilities, and then see if those tools give you the ability to do something like what you want to do. If so, then great, you've got your open path. If not, then you're looking at having to develop it yourself. (Which is probably not impossible; it seems you could do it in Blender.)

As it says in the MCS thread, the utilities for creating your own character morphs might come as early as November. But this is something they've been working on for a long time, and they originally thought for sure they'd have it done in the first quarter of 2016 by the latest.
