Hi . I’m learning Unity from a book so I’m asking a simple question. The book says that when you double click a C# script the MonoDevelop starts where you can edit the script. However when I click on a C# script the Microsoft Visual Studio opens NOT the MonoDevelop. I’m wondering if the new version of Unity (version 5.3.4f1) does not come with MonoDevelop but with Microsoft Visual Studio OR I installed Unity wrong and I have to reinstall it.

In previous versions the default editor was MonoDevelop(and is on mac it still is).
On windows unity has a very nice integration with visual studio that you can use.
It should not make much difference for you books content.
