Monodevelop New File not adding to project

    Hi folks,
    Every since upgrading to 4.6, my MonoDevelop has problems creating new files. Traditionally I have been able to right click on a folder, select "New File", and enter a name, and then the new file is created.

    Right now I am prompted with this window, and I have to find my project in finder in order to create the file. This is extremely cumbersome. Is there a way to solve this problem? Has anyone else encountered this?

    Forgot to specify: I'm using Mac OSX v10.9.2
