Does anyone know why clicking does not work? I am on Windows 7, I am using Unity 5.3.5f. As default creating a new script was bringing me to VisualStudio, I then switched it to Notepad ++, but then I decided to switch to MonoDevelop.

    Issues I am having:
    1) When I create a new script I get this message: "This file has line endings (UNIX) which differ from the policy settings (Windows)."

    2) Using the mouse does not work properly. (my mouse is not the issue)

    Why?
That's a weird one, I get this too, it does exactly nothing, just don't bother with it
Well, unity and monodevelop can be unstable at times, did you download it using the unity installation, or you used the notorious 5.10 update?

This is not a real issue it has to do with switching between Mac and Windows (I only use Windows so I dont understand why that message occurs.)
Agreed, Monodevelop can have quite the issues but personally I prefer it over VS as it is simply less bulk. Check your mouse drivers, re-install monodevelop/unity (I dont think you can install Monodev without reinstalling Unity). Restart your computer.

Yup, that's why noone want monodevelop to just stop working, because then you have to install unity again (and possibly delete the old monodevelop files), which is a nice time to update I guess?

I don't know how I have installed Monodevelop, as I only installed Unity. (I guess it came with it somehow?) Also it is MonoDevelop 5.9.6

Edit: Yes I believe that I did install it with the Unity Installation.

If I reinstall Unity and add a checkmark to both Mac and LInux Build support will that mess up Monodevelop? (Will the line endings default to Windows?)

    Try this:

Problem #2 is just MD being MD, and I can't think of anything specific that helps.
