MonoBehaviour Replacement

    I can remember some time ago (I guess at a Unite conference) there was talk about work in progress to replace MonoBehaviour with some other class that was supposed to get rid of some weird edge cases of MonoBehaviour and to correct some of the 10+year old design decisions.
    I can't find it anywhere on the Roadmap though.
    Is this still planned? Or is this already in beta but I just didn't find out?

    EDIT: i found the talk with the correct time index:


    Is this missing from the Roadmap because it was dropped?

    There's a whole subforum dedicated to the replacement that eventually got figured out.
