Mono Performance Counters Help

Could any help no matter what I do all counters return zero!

I have tried to get windows performance counters working in Unity. I was able to get the performance counters working natively outside of Unity, then tried the same code in Unity. I've also looked at the documentation here, and made sure I am not on the 2.0 subset, and made sure I am running in elevated privilege. I tried a plugin with the original code as well, but still no luck. I've searched the treads and there are no answer/solutions.
