Do you support WebGL games as well? Otherwise you are aiming for a dying market.

Your website is surprisingly devoid of info. And a google search on your website name doesn't bring up much. Makes me wary. Do you have any information available I can look at without signing up? Maybe an FAQ at the very least. API details would be nice. I'd like to know how and when I can be paid. I'd like to know the tax implications. I'd like to know what your ads look like, so I can consider if the format meets my needs. I'd like to see a few testimonials (even fake ones show you care).

Really anything to indicate it might be worth my time to sign up.

I decided I was bored enough to waste the couple minutes. One glaring problem stood out immediately. The site does not have encryption through HTTPS. Not on the pages where you sign up or log in. Not on the page where you enter your credit card number to be paid.

https will be added in day or two.
We don't test it with WebGL yet, so we cannot guarantee that all will be ok.
Ad format is 300x250, like in the flash games. Can be used as interstitial or before game. You can check demo project available with the SDK.
As I say early, we in beta now and working hard to add all possible features as soon as possible. So any suggestions are very important for us. Thanks for your feedback guys.

Wait, you are asking for my credit card details to give me money? That's not what credit cards are for.

Yes was confused about this part too... whats up with that? The proper method to receive payment should be PayPal, or at least to start with. BeetlePlay you have a great idea here as long as Unity does not come along and destroy your market share if you gain any with their own Unity Ad Network that currently Supports Mobile, but I think will eventually Support WebGL (Web Games). So far you are not doing a very good job at presenting an Ad Network for Unity Web Player Games that people feel they can trust. First impressions goes along way...

Maybe you can recover from that... but your Lack of Information on the Website, FAQ, About pages missing, along with Asking for a Card to get Paid, and no SSL? Not a good start... Good Luck.

Could you disclose average RPM, compared to google adsense for example?

OK BeetlePlay, this is starting to look alittle better now... Good Job on the Updates!

So I must ask have you already acquired some advertisers? I may have more questions as I have been looking for something like this for Web Player Games for a looooong time!!!

Are you guys facebook approved? If not can you get facebook approved?

Facebook is the place where its most difficult to use the regular ad networks, and in game ads would be the most useful. For me anyway.

Why do you want WebPlayer? WebPlayer is pretty much dead as of this month as soon as Chrome pushes Update 42 (totally blocking NPAPI). I say dead because I have my own data (3+ years worth), along with other confirmed data that shows 90% of Browser-based Gamers use Chrome!

You probably won't see much traffic to your Web Player Game or App past this month. Unless you have an established user base using IE and Firefox then that's great!

Okay, so integrating this for kicks and giggles now. A few points to note.

First up your manager script should not be doing anything during Update. Update is precious, use a coroutine instead for the short time you need to be doing per frame calculations. When there is no ad displayed, I want your manager to be sitting there doing absolutely nothing at all.

And don't spam my console with null reference errors if I don't give you a camera to work with. Throw one error when I try to call ShowAd, then do nothing. I'll give you a camera if and when I feel like it. On scenes where there is no advertising there is no need for a camera.

I'm also getting an error as follows.

    RequestAd Error: 404 Not Found
    UnityEngine.Debug:Log(Object)
    <RequestAd>c__Iterator6:MoveNext()

Currently no ads are displayed. I assume this is to do with the fact that my game has not yet been approved on your website? It would be nice to be able to see a dummy ad in the mean time.

I really like the idea of in game ads for the web platforms. Just a few more tweaks are needed to make this work. My attempted deployment can be found here if anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like in game. I'll post back with stats, but my traffic may well be to low for this data to be meaningful.

Yeah I mentioned this earlier. But WebGL or WebPlayer, my point was about FaceBook integration. Web portals will give me a cut of their revenue, so there is no need to include ads. FaceBook doesn't share. So in game ads would be most useful there. Edited my post to reflect this.

So got approved by CPMbox, which was quick enough that I can't complain. Ads are now showing up in the editor (some of the time). Nothing yet in my deployed build on FaceBook.

Revenue per click appears extremely low. At $0.003 per click this will not make a noticeable difference. Unless this number goes up dramatically with more advertisers I couldn't recommend this to anyone.

Your game is approved now, but I don't see any ad in your game.
I tested your game ID in blank demo project and all is ok, so you need to check your debug output.
If you don't provide Camera, CpmbManager will try to get default main camera. Seems your camera is not tagged as Main Camera and manager cant find it.
    We will fix it.

And you are right about Update function, will be fixed too.

We has some advertisers now and we are working to add more in the nearest future.

    >L-Tyrosine
Average eCPM is about $0.2 at now, but revenue depends on your traffic source, country etc.

The ads show up fine in the editor and in a local browser version but not on FaceBook. Since that was my main use case the network doesn't meet my needs yet. But I like the idea.

Your Web Player doesn't load fore me... did Chrome push Update 42 already? lol... and thanks for Testing it out! I don't really have time right now to test it, but i'm definitely looking forward to this becoming much better. Who knows some competition might even start to spawn up because of CPMBox! It will be great for us to have more Ad Network options to integrate with WebGL going foward.

So with that in mind @BeetlePlay you have alot weighing on you man, make sure to get it right! As i'm sure as WebGL improves and becomes the new standard for Web Games, other Ad Networks will start to pop-up. I'm almost certain an Ad Network like http://ad4game.com/ will probably start supporting WebGL soon enough, although I didn't see any news. I think it's safe to say so as they currently have one solution for Unity Web Player Games. < - - - @BoredMormon you may was to check that out also, at least while Unity Web Player is still working in Firefox and IE.

Chrome and the web player haven't played nice for almost a year. You can make it work, but it requires some trickery.

Just checked again, still no ads on Facebook. Until you can get a demo project displaying ads in the Facebook canvas it doesn't do much for me.

I dunno. I haven't got an update email since a few months after the OP. I'd assume this one is dead and move on.

Chrome is complaining about the site's HTTPS certificate no longer being valid. I have to concur that it is dead too.
