    Hi,
this is my new effect pack, Modern Guns, which contains a lot of muzzle flashes, bullet shells, impacts, smokes, rocket, and such. It is cheaper than my other effect packs, mainly because the effects are sort of similar, and there are about 20 effects only. It costs 15$.

    WEBPLAYER DEMO

    ASSETSTORE LINK - 15$

This pack was made mainly for top-view or third-person games, the effects aren't detailed enough for a FPS.

I've already sent it to the assetstore, but it is still pending. Anyways, if you have any ideas or constructive criticism, feel free to share.

    cheers,
    Kalamona

Request Unity 4. Do you have a Unity 3.5.x version?

Sadly I don't. I wasn't aware when I was downloading unity 4.0 that assets created in this won't be compatible with 3.5, as I tought, they are just a few particle systems after all.

I suspect it is more of a policy of Unity to nudge people into buying 4.0, as I can hardly believe that particle systems cannot be made backwards compatible, even by discarding those parameters that aren't present in 3.5.

Are the effects optimized to use on mobile?

    +1

Also, is the webplayer demo scene associated with this Effect Pack included in the scene?

    Hi,
yes, the webplayer demo is in the pack.

Mobile: my experience is that the alpha overdraw is usually much more of an issue than the number or type of particles. So a particle very near to the camera can cause slowdowns, while one far away doesn't.

Almost all the effects use just a few particles. A notable exception is the explosion, and the smokes.

    best regards,
