Models in my asset package.

    Hi there, i'm making a tank controller script and i will send it to asset store
    team. But the tank model in my package is not my product, i found that as
    free. on web. I editted the model too much. I'm not selling this asset for that low poly tank model, i have to build a test scene with that model, but i think i should ask you first. Can i use that free model in my package, or i have
    to do my own tank model?

    Probably best to contact the person who made the asset and ask them if you can use it. If this model is included in your asset package, and you charge for it, them you are charging for the model. Often things that are given away free let you use them for your own use, but not share them with others.

    I can't understand copyright issues with 3D models. e.g. i made a car model, and sold it. And someone took and modified it. What happens now?

    Copyright is up to the creator. If someone is using your copyrighted materials in a way you feel is in violation of your copyright, you have to contact a lawyer. Nothing automatically happens if someone violates your copyright if you do nothing.

    Thanks for reply. I don't want any trouble with copyright, so i'm making a basic tank model for my asset.
