Modeling questions

Been looking through Unity's docs and I can't find information on LOD or collision. So I wanted to ask: does Unity use model LOD, how does Unity handle collision and is there an example prop model and/or character model I can look at for details? Thanks in advance

 

It's best to simply use Google with "site:docs.unity3d.com" at the beginning of your search. Browsing manually or using the official search isn't very useful at finding anything you don't already know the location or precise phrasing of.
