Model/Animation worflow to Unity from Blender vs Maya?

    We are developing a mobile game that will have character models with preset animations ( that users will select from ingame) that will be imported into Unity Environments. We will also have an accessory/clothing system that users can use to outfit their character. We were developing them in Blender but we are talking to someone who only works zbrush>Maya>Unity instead of Blender>Unity. Can someone explain to me if there are any downsides of doing the models in maya/zbrush than importing them into Unity vs Blender?
