Mobile Phone Kingdom Games Template?

I've been seeing a lot of games on the itunes store recently and they're all pretty much the same game except the art and was wondering where's the asset from? Since they're all built off a template or whatever and just curious about it and wanting to look deeper into it.

What makes you think they are built off a template? Just because they are the same type of game does not in any way mean there is or they used a template....

 

Just because I've seen the exact same things and even the exact same bugs.

 

There's sites out there which specialize in complete game templates for the purpose of you just reskinning. Change some art, text, colors, and throw it up on the mobiles stores for an attempt at a low effort cash grab (hint: your cash is what is getting grabbed). Just google for "mobile game reskin marketplace" or something along those lines and you should find several sites specializing in this garbage.

IMO, these sites have contributed greatly to the destruction of the mobile games platforms, since they are now filled with endless copies of the same games drowning out anything original. The templates are generally terrible, as they are thrown together as quickly as possible to increase ROI, and the flips of these things by the thousands on the stores are even worse.

 

There could be also the case, that code and assets simply were stolen / extracted / decompiled / copied, whatever you name it. Nothing unusual this days.
