Mobile deep linking

    Hi,

    Has anybody implemented deep linking in mobile game on iOS and Android? I'm trying to follow official documentation of Deeplink.me, but it concerns native development, while we need Unity integration, so handlers have to be in managed code. Are there any examples how to use this or another service for deep linking? Probably Facebook SDK?

    Required functionality is the following. User receives deep link like mygame://some/section via his Twitter or Facebook friend's post, or another web page. When user taps the link, he 1) launches the application; 2) proceeds to target screen depending on URI; 0) or proceeds to landing page in browser or App Store as fallback when application is not installed.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    IIRC correctly Apple announced at WWDC a deep linking component to the revised Search API that is coming with iOS 9. If you have a developer account you can try it out now in the beta program.

    There are no jars among files listed in package contents. How come there is no native code?

    I have implemented deep linking and App indexing features in game. For deep linking you only need to add Scheme as android-app and deep link will get work . test whether it is working or not by QR testing method. use only google chromes latest browser because only few Browsers supports opening an app from Browser.

    It is now updated to version 2.0, and includes a .jar file

    There are several approaches you can take (subclassing the main activity, adding a second activity, etc). Check out this UnityDeeplinks project in github - consistent behavior for both iOS and Android, just create some "onDeeplink(string url)" method and the deeplink will be delivered to it.
