Say your Hololens app is primarily a 2D UWP app but you want to show some 3D Holograms, maybe off a click event in UWP. Is this possible at all? Thanks for any response, right now I'm trying with a Unity UWP XAML app.
It's possible. Not too straightforward, but possible. You'd have to use SwitchAsync and pause/resume Unity as time goes: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/layout/show-multiple-views
Thanks Tautvydas, will check it out the link. Right now I don't fully appreciate the difference between the D3D and XAML projects relative to Unity.
Hello, Here is a link to help explain the 2 different build types, hope it helps. http://forums.hololens.com/discussion/569/uwp-build-type-d3d-vs-xaml Thank you, Wesley
Missed your post. Sorry. You can refer to this thread I made a while ago discussing differences: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/your-unity-games-and-xaml-how-many-of-you-actually-use-it.369950/
