I could have sworn that you could get baked lights with Mixed mode selected, as well as real time shadows on non-static objects.

    Steps:
    • Create a scene with a plane and a cube on it. Delete the standard directional "sun" light
    • Add a point light to the scene, set it to Mixed, and make shadows Soft
    • Set the plane and cube to Static and bake the scene
    • After baking, add a new cube. Make sure it's non-static
    • Notice there's shadows for the baked cube, but not the non-static one
I really thought this was possible. I am using Directional Mode "Directional" under GI in the Lighting tab. Shadows are perfectly fine for the static cube, but not the non-static one.??

    Edit

So I found out this is a bug that's been delayed for all of Unity 5.x
So this means that "Mixed" mode should not be included, correct? If it's completely useless?

Mixed mode is not yet implemented in Unity 5, to everyone's dismay - see this thread.

Thanks for the quick response. I read through the first few pages of that thread. So, we don't know any sort of ETA?
