Please elaborate. I don’t understand what exactly you do and what works and doesn’t.

This doesn’t add any info. Explain what you do and what doesn’t work exactly.

    1. Download character with animation from Mixamo.
    2. Import character in unity
    3. Now I want to edit that animation but it's Read-Only
    4. I duplicate animation (ctrl + d) and now I can edit animation keyframes
But now when I use that animation with my 3d character that duplicated animation not working.

Did you drag it into the Animator window, or otherwise assigned it to the Animator?

Oh dear internet stranger, how sorry I am for trying to assist you with a problem you have which concerns me none at all.
Have the best of time figuring out why “doesn’t work” doesn’t work for you.

Maybe not, but clearly it's your first time trying to get help from online strangers. By definition, I know nothing about you nor you about me. If I'm asking a question it's not to imply that you are stupid, it's to get more info that I don't have.
If you still wan't help, then try to help others to help you by providing *detailed* information regarding what exactly you tried, and what happened. Saying "animation doesn't work" just doesn't cut it.

    Solution:
click on package > rig > Animation Type.
Set the animation type and the avatar definition you desire.
    Hit apply.
    Now root motion will work.
