Missing text on buttons when deployed to Android

    Hi everyone,

    I have been having a play with the UIToolkit and so far I really like it. I made a sample menu screen to learn some of the tools, and noticed when deployed to Android the text on any buttons disappears.

    I have tried multiple font sizes and colours but have yet to find a workaround. Has anyone else run into this at all?

    Hello!

    Can you tell us which Android device you are using, and the UI Toolkit version?

    Hi mcoted3d

    I am using UI Toolkit version : 1.0.0-preview.11 - November 13, 2020
    UI Builder version number : 1.0.0-preview 9

    And in the device simulator I am using : Galaxy S10 5G. (Because the S20 doesn't exist here yet)

    And the actual device I am deploying to is : Samsung Galaxy S20 5G.

    I think these issues will be resolved in the next UI Toolkit release. Stay tuned!

    Hi,

    I have updated tonight to 1.0.0-preview.12 and the text is missing on Buttons when deployed to Android on, and is also missing on Labels. I am not sure if the recent fix made it into this build or not, but just wanted to let you know :)

    I made a mistake in thinking that preview.12 contained a fix. It does not. That said, I'm unable to reproduce this issue. It would probably be best to file an actual bug report (Help > Report a Bug...) so that we can have a look at the complete project setup.

    Has there been a fix for this yet? Still seeing this in 2021 when deployed to Android devices (works fine on iOS though).
