Missing GetComponentInParent methods

Hi!

The documentation indicated there are overloadings of the GetComponentInParent method that accept the use includeInactive flag in 2020.3

But for some reason, they don't exist for me.



Is this an issue with the documentation or am I doing something wrong? I am using 2020.3.2f1.

The documentation is busted. The method was introduced, but apparently not before 2021. it does at least not compile in 2020.3.23f1 either.

 

It is there in 2020.3.25 and other versions around this one.

Sorry to be saying this but you may want to check your installation and / or your IDE. Alternatively upgrade the project to 2020.3.25 for example.
