I'm reading the Unity Improved Workflow Productivity PDF (70+ tips to increase productivity with Unity 2020 LTS) and it refers to displaying UV's, normals, etc and "improved inspector previews". I can find no such preview in 2021LTS. Did this feature get removed?

The first one: it's the mesh preview. not the model preview. (it has this 3x3 grid icon, instead of the box icon)

for the second one, I've sadly no 3d texture ready at hand to check it

Ohhh! Ok thank you! I didn't realize the mesh viewer was different than the model viewer.

I also didn't know about 3d textures before today! The more you know!!

Did the previous answer solve the issue?

You can find a ton here: https://assetstore.unity.com/?q=texture&orderBy=1

And just select the ones that are meant for 3d rather than 2d. Also you can filter by free texture packs that can get you started with just playing around with textures. And you can also create your own in the editor, although if its your first time working in textures, you can learn from existing ones in the asset store above, and watch tutorials on how to make them.

Sorry but I don't see any difference between those and any other textures I have used. I'm looking for this kind
    as described here https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-Texture3D.html
