    Hello

I would like Unity3d to support also MilkShape file format, .ms3d
I am having so many problems with FBX which is getting really annoying
MilkShape is a simple file format specifically designed for low polys animated models
Maybe it has some limitations ( what...? ) but is is so easy to code a rock solid I/O module

Milkshape is a very popular application for games development, it would be a very nice feature bullet if it could be said that Unity worked with Milkshape to any degree.

Not only MilkShape is very popular but it is a also rock solid file format being designed specifically for game programming

FBX is a bloated file format containing a lot of features which have nothing to do with game programming

    FBX stands for FilmBox

Everybody would like to have a standard file format for graphic programming but for the time being it is still a dream

See yourself, even in this forum

People are complaining because the FBX -> LW animation pipe line is still not reliable

    What ?
Should I spend a thousand dollars for LW and a thousand dollars for Unity3d for having problem to deal with a bloody low poly character animated file ?

I have loaded hundreds .ms3d animations in 3dgs, blitz3d , TrueVision3d whithout even one problem

Unite3d is miles ahead the above engines but sorry I would like to import a file without crossing my fingers

Sorry to bring this old topic up, but this would be a sweet feature.
