    Hello all,

MijiKai Game Studio is currently seeking an investor or game studio who may be interested in absorbing all of our assets. In other words, we are currently selling the company and all assets. This includes domain names, source code, and our unity asset store. You can find our listing here on https://flippa.com/6329602-mijikaigames-com.

Feel free to contact jon@mijikaigames.com with any questions, and offers.

Note: Apologies to Unity Forum Admins if this is not the correct place to post. I was not sure where to post as there is no forum or category that I thought fit this threads subject. Of course move the post as needed to the most appropriate forum you feel if General does not work. Regards,

Ah Flippa! I haven't been there in a long time. Used to be one of the good places to check to take over established websites.

I remember playing your Apocalypse City game when you posted it on the Game Design forum last year. Despite not liking the AAA FPS military games I thought this game was actually off to a great start and had an excellent atmosphere. And based on other posts I actually thought you were doing better than most folks around here as an Indie Game Dev.

Seems like a good opportunity for someone to take over an existing income stream, fan base and product. At least I guess this includes your Apocalypse City: Last Stand game (not sure about that dedicated website though).

Anyway, good luck with the sale and whatever else you decide to do after this point.

Thanks GarBenjamin! I did make a good amount of money from the original version of Apocalypse City that was published 2013. This new version is a remake for WebGL. Revenue has since slowed for many factors that were out of my control. I think the game, along with my other project "Heroes of Rune" has great potential. I just don't have the resources anymore to commit to it, and i'm also perusing a new career in Web Application Development (learning JavaScript, jQuery, and all the other fun web based development stuff). I'd love to come back to developing games again, but I have a family to support, and I know this new career will bring me some immediate income flow and salary increase that I need in this moment. I did sort of lose steam and interest in pursuing these projects as well, but I think it's mostly due to my current life stress factors. If i was single and still living at home with my parents, i'm sure i'd still keep at it lol.

Thanks again, and I do hope someone jumps on it, as it's a great opportunity. I'd rather see someone else find success with it now, and not let this go to waste. Since I can't push it any further in this moment due to my other obligations.

That makes complete sense and I can relate. I was just updating my game dev log a few minutes ago when I realized my eyes were closed and I was dozing off. Been a very hectic day and I stayed up too late considering I had to get up early. Maybe I need to go back to the Monster energy drinks. Alright, I won't clog up the thread. Good luck again!

    Some minor trolling below...

I looked at your resume and saw "Implemented Waterfall sequential design process" and now I knew why you lost passion and stuff wasn't going as well :)

i'm confused, what does the design process of choice have to do with anything? It's only until recently that I have decided to sell, as my projects are not being worked on mostly because i have different goals in mind, along with other immediate obligations. Game development is a long term commitment to success... I can't afford to commit the same amount of time anymore.

    hi Mr. Jon,
I wish you best of luck in your future endevours.

    > Game development is a long term commitment to success...

    It truly is.

    > Web Application Development (learning JavaScript, jQuery, and all the other fun web based development stuff).

Learn NodeJS, C# + Xamarin (Free, looks like Unity with their game stuff). Xamarin is now FREE for both Android, iOS and you can use same codes for back-end ASP.NET website, so that is something interesting if you are doing cloud + mobile. :).

Thank you Polywick! I have a good feeling I will be back sometime in the future after I've had my share of developing applications for a living. It's actually game development that became the catalyst for me moving into this direction now. As I realized outsourcing was getting too expensive for me. After some life crisis I dealt with, I just couldn't afford to continue investing in this. The next best thing for me to do is to level up my development skills! I dabbled with C# in Unity thankfully, which drove my interest to learn more and to empower myself instead of always relying on others to get the work done. Although learning to code C# and just for games will not pay the bills anytime soon lol... while on the other hand web site, and or application development does pay sooner, and it's a much easier barrier of entry for my current needs.

    Thanks again! ^_^

Update: I haven't seen any bids yet for the assets, and just wanted to inform you all that I'm open to also just selling the assets separately, for example Apocalypse City: Last Stand, has generated around $80-$100 a month for the past few months on average. Here is the latest Ad Revenue (below). PM me for further details, if your interested in purchasing Apocalypse City: Last Stand source code, or other assets.
