Question Microphone Choppy?

Hey, so I made in game recording tools for GIF.. then moved onto video.

Anyway.. The microphones extremely choppy, I've tried all the audio settings for the buffer, hoping that would of fixed it. Has anyone else encountered this? I read somewhere testing in a new project helps, but i am pretty bare bones with external assets or audio things, so I don't think that will help.

Besides this, encoding PNGs taking way too long, which i moved to the end of the process, so that's kinda fine for me at least, but I would like to know if anyone has a real-time way of encoding PNGs. If I knew how, i'de move it to the job system. Unity said somewhere they use an external library for that.
