    MG Patcher Tools use modified ICSharpZipLib library for compress.

    Use Handmake patch. I did it especially for tasks such as yours!

    Hi there, I bought patcher tools and the dropbox addon + VS addon but there is really not much documentation other than a youtube video on the asset store page.

    Could you provide a detailed explanation of how to integrate dropbox into the patcher and how to run the patcher from inside the game? Thank you.

    Hi, to configure Dropbox patcher. Open the project in VisualStudio. open the file Settings.settings and enter the desired values. Next, compile the project and add the folder with the app file CurrentVersion. Write in this file the current version of the game. If this home version enter "start_version". Otherwise, add the game files in a folder with the app

    yes,of course.there was no patcher support ios in AssetStore.I'm waiting for one.

    I get this error and these are my settings, the version is available when i go to the link through firefox but the patcher doesn't find it or what ?

    it now connects but when i update from patch 1.1 to 1.2 it gives me this error and a file "test222_1_1_1_2.patch" appears on my desktop

    nvm i found it, i had named the build differently than the editor game name :p

    I'm getting this when trying to run the updater on the client

    Hi there,

    can someone help me to Setting up this patcher? all Videos and readmes i found are outdated.

    i dont know how it works.

    do i Need to upload patch on a ftp or a URL? or can i also test it local on my own Computer.

    when i create a patch and want to run the exe. it always appears an error where the currentversion data is missing. when i put this file in the Folder it Comes the message: update required, but when i click on it, nothing happen.

    in the MG Settings
    Host HTTP field: i asume here is the path from the patch like: c:/TestPatch

    then what about this fields in the MGPatchBuilder

    Path to Version
    and
    Patht patch?


    hope someone can help me

    MG Patcher for Mobiles use modify assetbundles mechanism. Assetbundles with patch mechanism

    Could you confirm if MG Patcher can :
    • Creates small patches by processing the changes in files and folders, for receiving the smallest possible download size (save bandwidth).
    • Auto repairs corrupted installations. MG Patcher can find and repair the local installation.
    • Launcher updates itself automatically.
    • Manages online/offline status: take application offline ( game server maintenance).
    • Login/Password system on/off + google autnehticator security system (linked to db like wordpress, drupal, joomla or *sql db) before loading patches and save bandwidth and/or control game access ( like battle.net launcher )?

    Hi, I have some "dumb" questions in regards to your MG Patcher Tools - Mobile, hope you don't mind

    1. Can you summarize the advantages and disadvantages (if any) versus AssetBundles ?
    2. Do you have any timeline in regard to ios release ?
    3. (Dumb question warning). It is mentioned that MG Pacther - Mobile requires Unity 5.5.2, hence 5.4.x is not supported
    right ? The issue is I have problems with Android slow FPS with the latest Unity and from my limited testing only 5.4.x is workable with Android.

    Hi All, is anyone able to confirm if documentation for Mobile is up to date? I'm keen to get this asset, but I've been burned by stuff before that turned out to be nigh unusable from lack of instructions.

    Also, for all the mobile version users, how have you found its functionality so far?

    I'm also very interested in mobile version. Has anyone tried it yet? Does it work?
    What about Google/Apple runtime code downloading policy? Can it be used without breaking the store regulations?

    Hello for start use see this video:

    Google play makes it possible to use asset bundles so you can simply not tell the user what you produce patching. Tell you download the app.

    Been trying to get the patcher to work using the demo scene in the Simple folder of the asset package. The FTP and HTTP settings appear to be correct, as the .patch and version files are uploaded to my FTP server and the launcher seems to detect when a newer version is available. However, when I update and click on the Play button the start scene (at index 1) won't load and I get the error shown in the image. Could you give me some insight into why this is happening?
