Although in many contexts the gif is now basically obsolete, I really like seeing them in showcase and WIP forums within the Unity community as well as in blog posts. It's an awesome tool for showing tiny aspects of your game that aren't quite captured in a screenshot but to brief to merit an actual video.

My question is this. For those of you out there who currently make gameplay/animation .gifs of your Unity projects, what tools/workflows do you use to create them? What properties do you tend to go with (i.e. framerate, resolution)? Any useful tips for achieving high quality?

    TLDR
What's a good way to make awesome gameplay gifs?

Looks nice and straightforward. Does it have any support for editing afterward? Or would you just do that in gimp or photoshop?
