    Hey Everyone

I've had this problem for a while and I need some help, basically, i have a model which i imported in from a PMX file through Mecanim unity package and for some reason the mesh seems to just get riddled with holes and i found one way of a solution was using a mesh compression but then that would make the mesh not be able to move (like if you weight painted something wrong) so now if the character moves their arm the mesh that got filled will be broken.

so i am wanting to find a way to fix this? it could be the package not importing it properly but the mesh compression can fix it? is there a way to fix the mesh compression then to make it move with the mode fine?

Any help would be great as i cannot find anything anywhere else.

attached is the mesh when imported

and under is when the mesh is filled with compression.

Sometimes, the normals on some faces of an object can go a bit wonky, and would cause this problem. Try flipping the normals in blender or 3ds max, and see if that solves the problem. Tell us if it works.
