MenuItem - Hide from menu bar?

I want to show a context menu in a particular place, and the only way to do that is to reference an existing MenuItem. How do I specify that the MenuItem I create shouldn't be shown in the main menu bar at the top of the Unity Editor?

MenuItem("Assets/Whatever") creates a menu item that's only visible in the right-click menu of the Project view, is that helpful?
