I've been searching for a while but haven't been able to find what I need, so hopefully someone here can help! I'm a programmer so my knowledge on modelling and animating is limited. As a result I would like to do as much as possible from within Unity.

I've got a 3D character model imported with the rig set to humanoid, all works fine and when humanoid animations are applied they work fine. However when you create a new animation the model returns to it's default muscle pose. If possible I would like to store the default t-pose in an animation, as that will be easier to make placeholder animations with for me, however I cannot find a way to do this at all.

Is this just not possible? I thought I might have missed something simple honestly considering the model is in the correct pose until you press Preview or Record in the Animations window, but if its not possible I suppose I could attempt to learn basic posing in an external program and use that as the base in Unity
