I've got several fbx files with attached an animation clip for each fbx.

I noticed that I can specify animation curves to be used with mecanim only inside the fbx model inspector.

My problem is the following: once created I would like to save an animation curve somewhere, otherwise if I receive an updated version of the clip from my graphic team I need to rewrite by hand all the animations curves.

My question is: is there anyway to save/copy/move somewhere an animation curve?
Can I copy and paste or use some api, in order to share animation curves between different clips?

Just found the way. Fbx meta files stores the data relative to mecanim animation curves. I can simply copy and paste from/to them or write an editor extension to handle that.

    Example:
