EDIT: He is blinking in animation preview, but not in game, further leading me to suspect this is mecanim's doing. EDIT II: sometimes the blinks work in animation preview, sometimes they dont, what in monkeyballs? EDIT III: if I view the animation in preview from the import dialogue, it will blink. If I view it in preview from the project, no blinking. More confirmation this is mecanim dropping bones. I imported an animation from Blender to unity. Most of the animation is working, except my dude is not blinking. I seem to remember something about Mecanim culling animations not mapped to its hierarchy, and this means most facial bones on a rig will not be animated if mapped to mecanim. (I think mecanim has eye and jaw bones, but not eyelid or eyebrow mapping) This was about 1.5 years ago, I think. I looked for the thread, because I could not remember if that was the case, or something different. Do I remember correctly?
