Maya - Unity Material problem.

    I imported a rigged character from Maya and in Unity the model looks like this. In Unity it shows 2 material slots even though the whole model uses just one material in Maya. And unless I put the same material to the second slot, it appears bugged like how it looks above.

    Is there a way to make Unity ignore materials on import?
