Maya to Unity material workflow?

    I can't find much or any info on the proper way to have textures setup in maya so that when imported, unity would automatically relink the textures that are in the project. Currently I have to unpack the materials in Unity and relink the hdrp textures to each material.

    Normally Unity has a problem with creating proper Materials from the modelling software.

    I usually create a new material in unity and give it the needed information again (like Albedo, Normal-Map, Specular-Map) which i have exported from my modeling software.
