I cant figure out how to change the scale precision in maya. Right now the units that maya is scaling in are to large. How do you freaking change this! Bill
Thats not exactly what I meant... How do you enter a scale amount instead of using the manipulator? Bill
In the Channel Box you can enter numerical values. The float precision can be set by right clicking in the Channel Box and going down to "Settings/Change Precision".
I can enter numerical values for moving, scaling, and rotating the _object_. How ever I need to scale just a few polys. It appears that I cant enter values for scaling a face(s)? Need some help still. Bill
If you go into component mode (F8) you can selected polygons and scale them (R) etc. Is that what you after? Richard.
