Maya on rosetta?

    Slow but usable. Make sure you have a lot of RAM though.

    Maya seems to work well on my MacBook Pro - but I haven't tried any serious rendering though. The interface response is good.

    good to know, i dont do any software rendring any more, but im thinking i could get by untill the UB release...

    Have you read anything about Alias's (Autodesk's) roadmap for a Universal Binary of Maya? Couldn't find anything myself.

    Alias/autodesk has been extremely quiet except to say Maya is not dead. Look for the major announcement to come at Siggraph.

    Of course, I've got to go off topic here and mention that Cinema 4D's universal binary is very nice. :wink:

    oh yeah? how compatable is it with unity? I guess i like maya because its directly compatable with it.
