I've got an interior scene modeled in Maya that has Baked lighting, and everything was going well. But when I imported another Maya fbx file from the same original Maya scene, it initially came in correctly, but then turned solid black. It also initially had a correct cast shadow but that also vanished. The corresponding Materials will not appear on it, but will appear if I drag them onto the room. I made the fbx from the same Maya file, so no changes or settings have been altered. Any ideas or solutions are appreciated, thanks

Nevermind- turning the object to "Static" made the textures visible

Wow! That's an interesting way to solve that problem.
I almost thought, that the blackening problem that you were experiencing
might have been caused, by bad UV's or flipped normals.

Glad that you figured it out though.
