Max Verts and Tris Desktop

    I've done a lot of googling to find the answer but I simply can't find it. I've got a really large scene. I've got it partially culled, I've merged objects and enabled GPU instancing when I can. However, it's still pretty high on the tris and verts while running 60-150FPS.

    Does anyone know if 3-5million tris and verts is fine for a desktop game. I will reduce it further, but I don't think I could get it below 2.5 with what I have left to fix. Thanks

    It's been answered to death: there is no set amount you should use because how expensive it is totally depends on what else your game is doing and your own limitations.

    Worry more about other things.

    Thanks. I see it answered to death about mobile games. I do appreciate your answer. I would love to move on to other things :)
