    HI all

I am a HDRP newb and thought I would try and play with it a bit.

I am running Unity 2018.3.8f1 and HDRP 4.10. I imported a small test scene, basically this model
    https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/freebie-pack-66543

After importing the model, it all turned pink. I ran the HDRP conversion tool and a few materials still remained pink.

How can I upgrade the still remaining materials to the HDRP shader?

I examined the materials that did get converted, to HDRP/Lit it seems. I try to manually changing the affected shaders but they all turned grey afterwards.

    Thanks for any tips/advice.

First, try to save the project and restart Unity. Somethimes they can't update in realtime.

Second, if any of materials use custom shaders, then they can't be updated in SRP. Custom shaders form Unity 5.5 can't work in SRP.

This is what I've seen during my tests.

    Thanks for your reply.

Is there anyway I can find out if an asset I want to import uses custom shaders in order for it to work with HDRP?

    Thanks

If asset has full preview there should be shader's files shown.
