Materials automatically get renamed in all caps

    i'm getting the refresh case sensitivity failure error and i noticed that my materials get renamed to be in all caps, but not the .meta files.
    is there a reason "Floor" gets changed to "FLOOR" for example, and is this what is actually causing the error?

    Same here on different unity version and projet pretty annoying anybody come with a solution for that ?

    still in 2018.1.4

    Import a load of materials into a new project, and some of them will randomly be renamed into all caps.
