    Hello,

We are a team of three and are currently developing a VR game called MASTERS. We are a curious group in that only one of us has a full gaming background, having worked on titles such as Gothic 3 and Risen 2. The other two began their careers in non-realtime 3D, such as architectural and product visualization, animation and VFX.

What brought us together 4 years ago is a big car manufacturer for who we develop realtime and non-realtime 3D content, assets, scripts and data management systems. This ongoing work is what we do to finance ourselves, so unfortunately we can't work full time on the game for now. Since we're planning an episodic release schedule, we are hoping that the first episode to be released in late 2017 will provide us with enough funds to shift into higher gear, spending significantly more time per day on developing the next episodes.

We have a development blog where we frequently post updates and background information. Sometimes we talk about high level or very general topics, sometimes we go more in-depth and post technical details. Maintaining a blog is additional work, but we want to reach out and get a feel for how much interest there is in the game. It's also a great way for us to answer questions and respond to requests.

Enough said, here is the link to our blog:

good luck with your project! Do you have any game play videos? I briefly checked the blog, but didn't see any.

He looks pretty badass. How long have you been working on this project? I'm working on a VR game myself for the Vive, and have been focused on it exclusively for 11 months. I wish I could get the thing done, but it's the kind of game that requires huge amounts of time.

Sorry, I had not seen your post! We've started with the project a few months ago, it is in its very early stages.
    What's your game about?

Our current blog entry gives a bit of insight into how we approach level design.

hi, my game is a physics sandbox type game. As you can imagine, such a game requires quite a lot of different functionality and features and so It's taking time to get everything working. :)

Yes, I can imagine, especially if you're working on the game alone. Stay motivated and don't give up!
