Many players not utilizing CPU?

    Hi there,

    We're working on a game called Blackwake http://store.steampowered.com/app/420290

    About 5% of our user base seem to have low FPS even with High end rigs. It can vary from 0-30ish FPS causing it to be unplayable. We suspect that the CPU is not being used fully as all reports indicate very low cpu usage (less than 20%) when it should be higher. We are not 100% sure. No reports on the issue whatsoever with output logs.

    Everybody else seems to have no issue whatsoever.

    Some things we recommended that have only fixed a handful of that number:
    "-force-d3d9" as a launch option on Steam.
    "-window-mode exclusive" as a launch option on Steam
    Nvidia GPU is not in "Power saving mode"
    Getting them to lower all gfx settings to off/low. (doesn't fix the majority of permanent low fps)

    EDIT: Something that has improved but not fully fixed users experience is setting "Threaded optimization" to Off in Nvidia control panel. So it definitely is CPU related with Unity.
