Malware Bytes getting threat detection on beta 2018.3.0B4

    Based on previous experience our first assumption is this is a False Positive (FP). Machine Learning detections are mostly based on the process behaviour, which is cool, but prone to FPs specially with very new binaries like those in a Beta version. Besides, we tried to reproduce the issue but Malware Bytes didn't trigger the detection.

    If it's still possible, would you please post the exact file path of the binaries Malware Bytes detected?

    This will help us to identify them and submit a copy to Malware Bytes for whitelisting. Further, if those binaries are digitally signed, you can verify the digital signature is still valid to make sure these were not unintentionally modified by something else and post their checksums (SHA-1) too, so we can validate them against a fresh installation of the Editor.
