Male base 1/Fem base 1 RPG starter and UMA Multipurpopse Avatar

    Dwarf armor looks really good - both Tier 1 and Tier 2. What is your plan on this? Will you be releasing these together as part of a pack? If so, what will be in it - Will there be more armors, or Armor for the ladies?

    would be nice to have also warrior tier set :)

    i really like that there are also some for other races but are you thinking also about an tierset for an human warrior?
    woule be so awesome

    Hey Jaimi. They will be part of RPG starter 2 and also a Dwarf armor pack. The pack should contain 5 armors. I might refit them for the females. Yes.

    I would definitely like to do something like that: mage, warrior, ranger, archer and so on. Would be great, but I'll have to see how much time I have. I think this kind of thing would be pretty useful for games.

    Are the "beard protector" removable? Would be cool to be able to use the helmet for human chars as well : )

    Could be :). Will make a note and separate it soon.

    The whole beard thing is just motif since most dwarf have beards and beards are generally important to them I guess (depending on world). They would probably add a representation to their armor.

    The dwarf armors looks really nice but only for male :(
    doesnt work for me then cause i always have male and female versions of armors ingame.
    If a male equips it he will get male version and for female the same.

    Would love to use them yes :)


    And one question i have both RPG packs.
    but Rogue, Tavern Pack and Barbarian need to be bought extra or ?

    Do they also fit with the 2 packs?
    I mean change armor parts and stuff?


    The barbarian i own allready but didnt tested it yet.
    I want to buy the other 2 also.


    And one insider question the Armor you made for Atavism does this one also fit to the other Armors you made here ? :)

    And please dont forget the barbarian female pbr update hehe

    Hi.:)

    Fem versions of Dwarves should be done later as well. Just getting the models/textures done for the male, then refits.

    For the rogue etc.. They are compatible. Anything that is compatible should say " Works with MB1 refits" or something similar. the Barbarians are still being updated. Just the Males are at version 2.0. Tavern Pack was the last submitted I think. It's compatible.

    Atavism is my job. I work for Neojac Entertainment Inc.. (They just happen to use Atavism and UMA). I'm also working on other stuff for them that doesn't. The work I do for them is separate from my assets, so not compatible atm.

    I can't really talk about it :) (non-disclosure).

    Ok thanks yes i understand. Only thought maybe Jac sayed they also want to use your stuff instead of only the own one.
    We are using atavism but with only 1 armor set it is difficult to make a game of course ^^
    So then we will use your stuff cause it is a lot.

    All the UMA MB1FB1 stuff should work with Atavism with minimal tweaks (ie. changing slot names to include "_Slot" at the end).

    Jean (The Atavism tutorial video person) was going to do some tutorials up for them, but got really busy.

    yes i know jean :)

    Since Andrew the HeadCoder is sick at the moment it is not so easy :)

    i only thought that your "cut" points for feet, chest and so on will fit also with the Armor you made for them.
    changing names and stuff yes that s no problem at all :)

    Your stuff almost works only need to tweak out the extra slots like neck and such stuff also.

    So your Armor you made for them will not be compatible with yours :(

    So we wont use the atavism one cause there is only 1 Armor. And it is not much to make a game of course ^^

    Hi. That's an imported animation. Just uncheck "import animations" in the FBX import settings (inspector tab).

    Also, if your not using face animations, delete the jaw bone in the Mecanim bone list (Rig/ Humanoid/ Configure). Otherwise he will constantly have the mouth open.

    I haven't made any armor for them yet :)

    I've rigged/tweak some that were already done before I started with them. It's for their game specifically (nothing to do with my assets). He did mention they would be given away for free and possibly be put on the store.

    Better to talk the Jacques about that since it's not my game etc, and I signed a non-disclosure agreement which means I'm not to talk about or disclose any of the games we're making unless they say it's ok.

    Not sure, but the giving part he might have been referring to those of us who bought the developer pack prior to release as we were supposed to get art assets they developed for the game they were working on. Not sure they'd ever actually give anything away for free, at least from my experience with them... :p

    Small update:

    Priority non-exclusive tier set will be up next. Will be added to the RPG starter 2. Discussing the tier type with them now. Will be possibly warrior ( orc or human).

    The alpha channels in the color overlays for the Wanderer set are really weird; they seem like random streaks instead of having anything to do with the underlying texture. Is it supposed to be like that?

    Hi, I bought your asset. The example scenes doesn't works. I'm using Unity 5.3.3f1, UMA 2.05, UMA PBR and UMA Body Retexture Vol. 1. How I fix that? Thanks

    Hi. that actually got messed up when we were updating to modular textures. It's fixed on the site RPG starter but I haven't submitted to the Unity store yet. Will make a note to do that soon. I can also send you via email.

    Hey walter. That was made with Unity 5.1.2. UMA has some issue between Unity versions occasionally. The scene is nothing special. Just the generated.asset.

    If you want to replicate, just drag the slots folder to the slot library and the overlay folder to the overlay library, hit the two top buttons (update list, order by name),then press play, select UMA character in scene and go to UMA Menu /UMA Load and Save/ Load selected Avatar's asset/navigate to the Generated folder/select

    Medium/Light Armors:

    Leathers, cloths, other

    RPG Starter takes a day to upload, so I'm not sure when I can update the wanderer in that since I use unity for work etc.. Will try for the weekend.

    Awesome! While I'd love to do them in the bigger packs, budget wont let me drop that much at a time.. heheh. Totally happy doing them in the small packs, even if in the end it costs a little more. Your stuff is always worth the price. :)

    Quick question. With the Morph3D folks finally putting artist stuff for MCS in beta, do you have any plans on making your packs available for MCS as well? I'm still torn between sticking with UMA and moving to MCS. Not at a point where I need to commit yet, but decision would be easier if I knew you would be making your stuff available for their character system as well. :)
