Male base 1/Fem base 1 RPG starter and UMA Multipurpopse Avatar

@l0cke There is currently the MB1 FB1 RPG starter set with most of the current MB1/FB1 outfits and Armors.

I add grunge to every asset. Some more than others. Best current solution is to multiply a grunge map on the existing texture.

UMA currently has a grunge pack (for 1.2). One similar for MB1/FB1 will be done eventually.

 

You still haven't done a similar starter set for UMA have you? I think I saw you say somewhere that you weren't planning on doing one, but I might be mistaken..

 

@Shawn67 Nope. I haven't done one yet. I'm actually considering doing one, but it will be up in a while. I have to first update the armors etc for UMA 2.0.

Eventually there will be a RPG 2 pack as well once more items are completed.

 

Totally understand with UMA kinda being in a transition. I know 2.0 is out and available, but there still seems to be some things that are being worked out with it... And that is not just based on what I've seen you post.. I know a few people who are waiting on some things to get finished before putting a lot of time into updating their stuff to 2.0.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Kind of in a budget crunch right now, but still putting the UMA fantasy stuff I haven't grabbed yet (and new fantasy stuff) on my wish list for when funds open and I start working with UMA yet. You are gonna make me instantly broke again when I do get funds to put back into the game development! lol

@l0cke No problem. It should be done in a couple months or sooner once the the UMA 2.0 stuff is complete( Currently wip).

FB1 Hairs for volume 1. Included a separate diffuse texture for lighter colored hairs.

 

MB1 Hair/Beards wip (will include a separate stubble texture). Future faces will share the same uv so they can also share add on textures. (makeup stubble etc)

 

Up next/to finish:

UMA Face pack, Demon Armor (currently wip), wanderer, UMA 2.0 updates.

 

MB1 FB1 Hair pack volume 1 pre-final (will be including a basic tutorial on mixing parts). Should be submitted tomorrow.

That almost looks like Star Trek's Capt. Picard ...

 

He looks fantastic! The captain of the guard. I can't wait to get those faces and get rid of the startled UMA look.

UMA Male Face 8. Going to be adding scars, wrinkles, and moles as extra overlays.

 

Scars, wrinkles and moles as overlays? Oh, I love that idea! He look fabulous.

With the overlays, we could even have aging in our game!

Hi, @justb . Just wanted to let you know that I'm another one who is interested in buying the big RPG pack for UMA 2.

Also, do you have plans to create the orc armor and the pirate outfit (and possibly a separate one for the pirate captain)?

 

Hey @marked_one Yes. Orc Armor will be done eventually. I haven't thought of Pirates right now. It might be an option later on.

 

@justb , thanks for the answer. Good to know that at least orcs ar on the list. And I think it would be possible for me to "simulate" pirates by mixing some of the sets and the free bandana asset (hope it will work with UMA 2 then). So am waiting for any news regarding UMA 2 RPG pack now.

 

Just so you know, Secret Anorak's next video will be on converting the older assets for UMA 1 to work with UMA 2. That will be very helpful! I plan to get started as soon as I watch his video.

Oh good! I have some of my own that need updating too.

Love the face! They all have so much character. I am not fond of the games where everyone is model beautiful. While some of your faces are gorgeous, others look like regular people, hardened by work and worries. I really appreciate this over the model-like characters in most character systems.

 

Thanks. Yeah. It's more fun sculpting faces with character. That's kind of the goal, to give a variety of choices from pretty/ handsome to worn or haggard. It's also interesting to see what I can do within the limitations of UMA as well. (Plus the Orcs and elves). Hopefully they will be useful for every one's games and you can continue to tweak them if you want after they're all done.

 

@Teila , thanks for the info! I just watched his UMA videos recently, they saved me some time. Hope this one will too.
