In the game I'm making (a hobby), there is an evil influencing the lands. Not all animals at first will be affected by this evil... but I think it will be hilarious to be attacked by a tiny bunny with glowing eyes.
Hi @Malbers , I really like this series of animals but I was wondering if there are any plans to release more higher resolution/realistic versions of these, similar in style to the Horse Anim Set Pro?
That's the final goal....
I was waiting to finish all the animals to start working on the realistic styles but why wait...
after the raccoon which is the last one
i will jump back to the wolf,deer,fox etc and make the realistic ones
If you bought the poly art ones you wont have to pay the full price for the realistic ones
...at the end I need to feed my family

I have Cougar asset and I want to modify a model in order to make a simple cat.
Could you help me or maybe you have a modified version.
Another question is related to other assets compatibility. One of the best is Adventure Creator and it would be very nice if you could make your controllers, camera scripts AC compatible. There are a lot of integrations but it would be easier for you to make them for all your assets. You could get more customers for your assets.

I am going to buy your Horse Animset Pro (Riding System) and the Wolf. That could be perfect for adventure or survival games and together with AC would be powerful!
By the way I have a question related to your motion controller which works great with cougar. Is that controller same for all your animals?
I have one cat asset and it works with another controller but I want to have only one controller for animals. The most animals would be yours and my question is can I use your motion controller for other animals?
The bones seems to be almost the same with different names. Please look at this?

Do you want to use the animations of the cougar with the cat? because if that is what you want, you need to use the same exact names...

Yes ! that is with IK... this feature I'm eager to incorporate it ... is on my list and currently I'm making changes on the controller to prepare it for this feature
I have test that asset before but it was outdated and didn't work with Unity 5 or 2017.
It used unity 4
But now the author have updated it (on February 28th 2018) so I will take a look again

I bought the fox pack. Could you add separate .fbx files for each of the fox species/varieties? It seems that there are only 2 fbx files in the models folder but they seem to be the same model. I know there are prefabs, but I might want to bring them into Blender.
the variations uses the same mesh...
What I did was scale the bones on Unity using the same mesh, the same can be done in any 3D software
Any ideas to make more fierce attacks for this little cotton ball?
Standing on the feet and scratching with the hands multiple times? Although I really dig that ninja move you put in there and wouldn't mind unrealistic stuff I guess kicking with the back feet without turning around is already in?
Maybe also an animation where you carry the rabbit on the neck could be interesting, i. e. the rabbit "hangs". Either as prey or just some larger animal carrying it around to another location.

@Malbers I recently found a lot of interesting rabbit photos. Ref Link. This rabbit is famous for its lovely way of eating.
Some new Optimization for the Animal Script (Which means all the animals /creatures)
Maybe you are unfamiliar with the movie, Monte Python and the Holy Grail, but your research into rabbit attacks is not complete until your view this scene.
Are you going to be adding realistic skins to all of your animals and if so do you have a general eta? I would hate to go through the time to move your excellent animations to another model only to have updated Malbers models drop the next day.
I will be working on the realistic animals through this year but it wont be any time soon

Thank you for the info! I will try to retarget the animations then. I only do this as a hobby so you will probably get the realistic animals done before my retargetting anyway. ha.
How do I change a fox's material through code? I want to have a way for a player to pick their color by clicking a UI button to scroll through the different skins. I found some virtual ChangeMaterial methods in MaterialChanger.cs, but I'm not sure how to use them.
Forgive me for being dumb.
Take a Look to the CallBacks Sample scene:
You can Use MaterialChanger.NextMaterialItem("Skin")
if you want an specific material on a list of materials you can use:

The Realistic one is still on the job.... I'm still making the textures on painter and fixing some other stuff but it should be ready very soon

wolverine/glutton is an animal from the weasel family, I thought that if you have any plan to make weasels, it might have crossed your mind to do a wolverine skin. Really like your assets btw! Outstanding work!
Interesting thing is that they seem to be pretty common https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverine even though I don't hear people talking about them. But I can't really say since there are no wolverines nearby where I live.
Buffalo would indeed make more sense than musk ox.
Less low poly animals please, more realistic ones. The HDRP is the awesomeness. What am I supposed to do with low poly there? I need superb animations and realistic ones

@Invector is working on his AI system. Initially, it will be human only, but animal AI is anticipated in a later upgrade. Considering that you already have some integrations with @Invector, it seems only natural that there should be an integration between Poly Art Aminals and @Invector AI.

Looks great. Yes, it seems like no hair/fur asset sticks around for that long. This one is giving it a go. Let's see how it ends up. I've also seen some people use Amplify Shader Editor to make hair. It may be worth looking into that.
I've tried Pidi Pixi.... is fine.... it still need to improve a lot to achieve NeoFur quality

That was an instant purchase. OMG the cuteness Amazing work as always.
Now that I toyed around with it, noticed the love to realism and because one can never have enough animations: There is something that is missing in all of the assets when it comes to realism: Animals doing their "business"
Hahaha I noticed that yesterday too , while watching some other assets on the store.. I added those animation to the list
