Hi all, I'm trying to make ground textures by placing multiple planes Aligned to one another and then applying the appropriate texture over each one. I've put my first two planes down and put a texture over each.
The planes are 0.12 x 0.12 and the textures are 500 x 500. The result isn't too bad apart from getting a green line between the two planes which I cant seem to get rid of.
I've tried turning off cast & receive shadows in the mesh renderer, I've tried turning the terrain off, also tried to overlap the 2 planes. The shader I'm using is Diffuse ( I don't know much about shaders ).
Here is a screenshot of the result, it looks like the planes are not aligned properly but they are, like I said even if I overlap the planes I still get the same result.

I've checked the textures and they don't have any line on the edge of them so it must be something unity related, any ideas greatly appreciated.

Also is there any alternative to my approach, other programs ect.

    Thanks.

It looks like your getting the texture bleeding effect around the edges. Set your textures to 'Clamp' and raise 'Aniso level' it might help.

A alternative method would be to crate the road as a separate object with a tillable road texture and a separate grass floor also with tillable grass texture.

Setting both textures to clamp worked, many thanks.
