make the texture readable in the Texture Import Settings

where are the Texture Import Settings?

UnityException: Texture 'foo_forCache-Key 3' is not readable, the texture memory can not be accessed from scripts. You can make the texture readable in the Texture Import Settings.

Just select the texture in Unity and the inspector will show you the import settings for it.

Thanks. I have 250 tgas, how to apply the same settings to all?

Just select all of them and then change it, it may take w while for reimporting 250 tga's but it works.
Make sure you really need to write to the textures, since the R/W option doubles the amount of memory used per texture.
