make parent follow child object

    Okay, so i need for my parent object to follow my child object.
    I know that then i move my parent to the child i also move the child, but i don't know a way to get around this.
    Hope someone can help me, because i really can't find out.

    If I were you, I wouldn't have them as parent/child. And just use 2 separate gameObjects that 1 follows another.

    well i understand, its just for a short time i need the parent to follow the child and not the other way around, normally its the child following the parent.

    anyway i split them up, and put them back together so it works
