Make a prefab for all scenes after copying object?

    Luckily I'm in the early stages of level design, but I have made about 5 levels with a canvas that I simply copied into each scene. Now I'm realizing that I can't make them all the same prefab, or is there a way to do this?

    Otherwise I'd have to make one of them the prefab, delete the copies and re-add all the scripting links specific to each scene from the new prefab which is a quite the hassle. Any tips?

    Also, if something exists only in one scene, DO NOT MAKE A PREFAB out of it. It's a waste of time and needlessly splits your work between two files, the prefab and the scene, leading to many possible errors and edge cases.
